THANK YOU. similar prob as perez–couldn’t find anything on removing old plugins manually. For others out there, the Mendeley plugin crashed on upgrade, mendeley-0.0.15.oxt. Take it out this way.

Thank you so much for this post! You saved my OpenOffice installation.

I upgraded my OO3.0.0 to 3.0.1, but I also used LanguageTool 0.9.5. Unfortunately, I overlooked the fact that I should’ve uninstalled LanguageTool first before upgrading OO. I ended up with a damaged installation.

I’ve been at this problem for hours, trying to find work arounds. But this simple renaming trick did it.

actually, its not too farfetched for youtube to do better here. They store all of the uploaded content in original, then compress lots of copies of it, some for mobile devices, other for low speed connections, etc.

Win: licenses came with computers. So yes, you can say I paid for Windows. Not by my choice, however. Lets say never when I had a choice.
