The upside to going to dialup Hell is that my desktop computer is there. It is now running a whole 2 GB of ram, instead of the puny 512mb it came with.
Pity it only has two DIMM slots. Otherwise it would have 2.5 gigs.
What am I complaining about? 2gigs is more than enough. Right..?
Either way, it runs way faster than before, especially boot and shutdown.
This computer is actually starting to look like a really good comp, for a two year old computer that cost $750 new.
New specs:
- 2.8gHz Pentium 4 w/ Hyper threading
- 2 GB RAM
- 80 GB Hard drive
- CD Burner and CD reader
- 17″ Screen
Looks good to me…
