The upside to going to dialup Hell is that my desktop computer is there. It is now running a whole 2 GB of ram, instead of the puny 512mb it came with.
Pity it only has two DIMM slots. Otherwise it would have 2.5 gigs.
What am I complaining about? 2gigs is more than enough. Right..?

Until Saturday night, I am in what I like to call ‘Dialup Hell’.
This is a realm where pages often take upwards of 5 minutes to load, Linux cannot access the Internet, and sotware download is but a dream. Unfortunately, many of us live here all of the time.

Unfortunately, somewhere in the reinstall I lost my RSS feeds. For some reason my .liferea settings folder didn’t get copied. It really says something about the advantages of centralization when it takes me almost as long to get my RSS feeds back as to reconfigure my computer…
